Baby App

Samsung has developed an app that helps premature babies feel closer to mother.
The Voice of Life app lets the mother record her voice and heartbeat on the phone, using the heart rate sensor on Samsung smartphones.  By recording her voice, she can talk to the baby and sing songs, just to connect.
Better still, she can do it from home while the baby is in the hospital incubator.
The sound is muffled, as if it’s coming from inside the womb. The ultimate baby app.

While that isn’t very clear to anyone else, the baby can hear it just fine because it’s used to that sound. This will ease the transition for when the baby comes home.
Samsung has yet to announce the release date or which hospitals will be trialling it.
But it’s an important development that would help parents connect with their infant in those crucial first weeks.
