Apple hardware launch for March 21

Attention all nerds: Apple will be unveiling all its latest new products on March 21.

According to reports in Buzzfeed, Re/Code, KG News and Apple Insider, that’s the big day following on from earlier rumours that it had been scheduled the week before on March 15.

The rumour mill has been running hot on what we can expect at the event and all up, it will be evolutionary, as opposed to revolutionary, change with a smaller iPhone, a revamped iPad and tweaks to the Apple Watch

First, there’s talk of a smaller, 4-inch iPhone 5se which, according to 9to5 Mac, will feature an NFC chip for Apple Pay and an 8 megapixel camera to work with Apple’s new Live Photos feature.

Then there is speculation about a new 9.7 inch iPad Pro with a smaller version of its Smart Keyboard cover attachment. According to 9to5 Mac, the pricing will be in line with the iPad Air models it will succeed.

There’s talk that current Pro’s Apple Pencil support, A9X processor and 4GB of RAM will be incorporated into the 9.7-inch device.

We can also expect new Apple Watch bands.
